What it means to be an ally - NO CASUAL HOMOPHOBIA. Know that we are all just people. Being an ally is more then just supporting our sexuality. It is to put yourself out of the way to help rally with us. Their is a new term for allies and it is called accomplice and those are the people who are active in the LGBTQ+ community. You should not not feel like you are treated differently because you are gay. Don't be stereotypical to gays and if they decide to come out don't treat them differently. Billy Porter at the Tony awards wore a dress and he said "I am just a man wearing a dress". That means that he can wear whatever they want whenever they want.
What do you feel about lying about being LGBTQ+ on applications? That is a NO NO.
